


While researching ideas for this logo I found that the third voting rights movement was made in the 1960’s which lowered the voting age from 21 to 18. Since we are targeting a younger audience I thought that was an important year to focus on. I chose this sort of 60’s inspired logo design for that reason. I got inspiration from different versions of Scandinavian logos. I chose the colors in order to go with a sort of retro color palette, more of a teal blue subtle red, to fit the theme of the logo and patriotism. The whole goal of this logo is to appeal to students on campus and inspire them to vote and I think my design accomplishes that by being eye catching and exciting.
